About the Role
Are you passionate about technology and love helping people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, fantastic troubleshooting ability, and a proactive mindset. You’ll be the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and system alerts—triaging issues, assisting with troubleshooting, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, and monitoring systems.
- Triage and log incoming issues, directing them to the right team member.
- Provide Level 1 support for common technical issues (password resets, connectivity problems, basic troubleshooting).
- Monitor systems and respond promptly to alerts.
- Take initiative to resolve issues where possible and escalate when necessary.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Document solutions and contribute to our knowledge base.
Skills & Attributes
- Fantastic troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Proactive and takes initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of IT systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A keen interest in IT and technology (formal qualifications are a bonus but not required).
- Previous experience in customer service or helpdesk roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstration of IT related Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
