About the role
The Kaiwhakahaere Mātua te Tamaiti – Parenting through Separation Facilitator delivers the Ministry of Justice programme Parenting through Separation in both online and face-to-face group workshops. The programme is a 2×2 or 1×4 hour workshop delivered during the day, evenings and/or weekends for between 4 – 8 participants. With the support of the Programme Coordinator workshops are arranged in advance.
The programme information is provided by the Ministry of Justice and would suit an applicant looking for some occasional day, evening or weekend work a couple of times a month. The opportunity to provide administration support when the Programme Coordinator is on leave may also be available.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- the ability to interact effectively and positively with a wide range of people
- Experience working with multi-cultural environments
- a basic understanding of Te Reo Māori and tikaka
- Good time management, reliability and planning skills
- Computer and technology ability
- An understanding of the importance of safety, security and professional boundaries
- the ability to work with situations of conflict and crisis in a calm and orderly manner
