About Little Citizens

Little Citizens Early Learning Centre are looking for a casual Centre Cook – Kaitunu Kai to join our team, providing fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals on an as-and-when basis.  Little Citizens Early Learning Centre is conveniently located on Oxford Street, South Dunedin. We offer programmes for children from 0-5 years of age and we are licensed for 75 children. 

About the Role

The team at Little Citizens Early Learning Centre celebrates the diversity of the many cultures that make up our centre families, and we are looking for an experienced relief cook to support the team to deliver delicious and nutritious food for our tamariki.

  To be successful in this role you will have

• In-depth knowledge of health and food safety
• A passion for cooking and baking
• An understanding of allergies and special diets
• Confident with communication skills
• Excellent time management
• A food handling or food safety certificate

Previous experience cooking for large groups is advantageous and a food handling or safety certificate is required.
