Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting senior accountants in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed an internship or is looking to start their career in the accounting field.

Skills Required:

– Strong analytical skills

– Excellent attention to detail

– Proficient in Microsoft Excel

– Good communication skills

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

– Assisting senior accountants with bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.

– Preparing financial reports such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets.

– Performing various administrative tasks related to the finance department.

– Liaising with clients regarding their accounts and providing support where necessary.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

-A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

-Demonstrated experience through internships or entry-level positions would be highly regarded

-Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
