About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Conveyancer to join our growing Conveyancing and Property team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and rural property transactions within one of South Australia’s leading law firms.

Your key responsibilities depending on your experience will include the following:

  • Managing conveyancing files from commencement through to settlement with minimal supervision;
  • Overseeing all aspects of conveyancing matters, including residential, agricultural and commercial transactions;
  • Providing advice and guidance to a broad range of clients;
  • Preparing and lodging Land Services SA documentation, including land divisions application;
  • Organising settlements with all parties and conducting settlements electronically via PEXA (or by paper as necessary);
  • Acting on transfers, refinance matters, discharge of mortgages, etc; and
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing referrers.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Current registration as a Conveyancer;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in conveyancing and a solid understanding of relevant legislation;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and proven experience with PEXA;
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • A professional approach when interacting with clients and team members;
  • A high attention to detail and great organisational skills; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
