Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Service Electrician to join our team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated electrician who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working with a wide variety of industrial equipment and control systems.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside a highly skilled team supporting a broad range of industrial and manufacturing clients, carrying out fault finding, breakdown response, maintenance, upgrades and installation projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of diagnosing issues, finding solutions and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and breakdown support on manufacturing and industrial equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and control system faults with and without electrical drawings.
  • Installation, maintenance and upgrade works across industrial and commercial sites.
  • Testing, verification and commissioning of electrical installations.
  • Working with PLCs, motor control systems and industrial automation equipment.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and technical support.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Participating in occasional shift work to support client operational requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Current QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence
  • Current White/Blue Construction Induction Card
  • Current CPR & LVR Certificate
  • Current Manual QLD Driver’s Licence.
  • Minimum 3-5 years post-trade experience.
  • Strong industrial fault-finding experience.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical faults independently.
  • Experience carrying out installation works.
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
  • Strong time management and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-focused approach.

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience within manufacturing or production environments.
  • Exposure to PLCs and industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with complex industrial installations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across a variety of control systems.
