ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ensure all products meet GMP and TGA regulatory requirements while supporting commercial objectives and business growth.
- Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across all operations, ensuring it is effective, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Lead quality assurance activities from cultivation through to product release, balancing quality, compliance, efficiency, and commercial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement, risk management, and a strong compliance culture, identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to production and quality teams, fostering a high-performance and commercially aware culture.
- Manage deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and audits effectively, ensuring timely resolution and minimising operational and commercial impact.
- Partner with production and leadership teams to identify quality-related risks and opportunities, using data and commercial insight to support informed business decisions.
- Not afraid to get down in the weeds when needed and support the team.
- Champion a culture of quality, accountability, patient safety, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on delivering measurable business impact.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Hold a bachelor degree in bioscience or industry experience equivalent
- Have proven 3 years’ experience as a QA manager within the pharmaceutical industry, or a regulated TGA and GMP manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GACP, and TGA regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Proven leadership and communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyse processes and implement effective improvements.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
- Passion for patient safety and ensuring product excellence at every stage.
