About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Taxation Senior Associate to join our Brisbane office team on a permanent full-time basis. The role is suited to someone with a strong background and interest in taxation and revenue matters, including superannuation.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Undertaking research and drafting technical advices in taxation, revenue, superannuation and corporate and commercial matters;
- Providing tax advisory and consulting support across areas such as income tax, GST, state taxes and international tax;
- Acting in dispute resolution, objections, audits, risk reviews and other revenue authority engagement matters;
- Supporting transactions, including tax-effective structuring, due diligence, post-deal advisory and integration matters;
- Implementing commercial and transactional aspects associated with taxation, revenue and superannuation advice;
- Providing a broad range of general commercial transaction support and advice to clients;
- Client relationship management; and
- Assisting in divisional marketing and business development activities.

- Post-admission experience in taxation, revenue and/or superannuation law matters, ideally ranging from 5+ years depending on level;

- Undergraduate, and if possible postgraduate, study in taxation, revenue or superannuation law areas;
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills;
- High level problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly; and
- Strong time management and organisational skills, together with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
