The Role

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Servicemen, Timbermen and Service Crew personnel to join our team on a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.

Depending on your experience, your duties may include:

• Installing, extending and maintaining underground mine services
• Installing and maintaining ventilation, water, air and dewatering services
• Installing pipes, cables and associated infrastructure
• Completing rock drilling as required for underground construction and service installations
• Assisting with general underground construction and service crew duties
• Inspecting work areas, equipment and services
• Working closely with supervisors and other underground personnel
• Completing all work safely and in accordance with site procedures

About You

• Previous experience as an Underground Serviceman, Timberman or Service Crew member
• Demonstrated underground mining experience
• Experience installing and maintaining underground services
• Relevant licences, tickets and competencies for the role
• Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
• Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
