We’re looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Dubbo. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also taking responsibility for inventory accuracy, systems, priorities and continuous improvement.

Our warehouse is more than a place where goods are received, stored and dispatched. It plays an important role in making sure our Production teams have the materials they need, our inventory can be trusted and our products and materials are handled safely and accurately.

As Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator, you’ll be hands-on in the operation while taking ownership of how inventory is controlled and how the warehouse runs day to day.

You’ll work closely with Production and Supply Chain, coordinate with suppliers and freight providers, provide day-to-day leadership within your area and help identify better ways of working.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out and coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock movements, locations, counts and traceability.
• Monitoring inventory requirements and identifying potential shortages before they affect operations.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and warehouse issues, identifying causes and following them through to resolution.
• Using inventory systems and data to maintain accurate information and support operational decisions.
• Raising and monitoring purchase orders and following up suppliers where required.
• Working closely with Production to understand priorities and ensure materials are available when needed.
• Coordinating customer orders, dispatch and supporting freight and export activities.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, compliant and audit-ready warehouse environment.
• Identifying practical improvements to warehouse layout, inventory controls, systems and processes.
• Providing day-to-day direction, priorities, support and feedback to employees within your area of responsibility.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in warehouse and inventory operations who is ready to take greater ownership of how things run.

You’ll bring:

• Meaningful hands-on warehouse or stores experience, with inventory responsibilities that go beyond basic picking and packing.
• Practical experience maintaining stock accuracy, managing stock movements and investigating discrepancies.
• Experience using an inventory, warehouse management or ERP system.
• The ability to independently organise and prioritise warehouse activities and respond to changing operational needs.
• A practical problem-solving approach — you’re comfortable investigating issues, working out what needs to happen and following them through to resolution.
• Experience working within defined processes where accuracy, record-keeping and documentation matter.

Experience in a manufacturing or Production-supporting warehouse would be particularly valuable. We’d also be interested in experience with inventory planning and replenishment, stocktakes and cycle counting, purchasing and supplier coordination, process improvement, LEAN/5S/Kanban, regulated or quality-controlled environments, leading or training others, or freight and export logistics.

You’ll need to be comfortable with the physical, hands-on nature of warehouse work and able to safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.

A current forklift licence would be useful, but isn’t essential if you’re willing and able to obtain one.
