Maverick Bio is seeking dependable and motivated Production Operators to join our Collections and Processing team on a part-time daily hire basis.

What You Will Do

You will play an essential role in preparing and handling biological materials to the highest quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and packaging animal tissue and biological materials
  • Completing documentation with accuracy and care
  • Following established procedures to ensure hygiene, safety, and quality
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily and weekly production targets
  • Reporting any issues or irregularities promptly

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Available to work a minimum of 4 days per week
  • Able to start work at 5:00 am
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Physically fit for manual handling, standing, and repetitive tasks
  • Are comfortable working in a slaughterhouse/abattoir environment
  • Can follow instructions carefully and stay focused on details
  • Have your own reliable transport (essential, due to site location)

Bonus Points For

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, food processing, or labouring roles
  • Experience working early morning shifts
