Matrix Education is now hiring Science Teachers across Biology, Chemistry and Physics to join us at our Parramatta, Strathfield, Epping or Bella Vista campuses.

• From $63/hour + Superannuation 
• New term starts 14 October 2026

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school and primary teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff and post graduate candidates and students.

Classes are available after school from 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:00am on weekends at our convenient locations, which are easily accessible via public transport.

You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a great work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

What you’ll do…

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic school term,
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes,
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you’ll need…

• A genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching stage 6 Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics in a classroom setting,
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in science,
• Have completed their degree in Education, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
