The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and inventory management at our Karratha facility.
The position will involve the following:
- Oversee and facilitate supply chain operations.
- Responsible for inward goods receipt and inspection.
- Ensure all paperwork related to incoming and outgoing freight is accurate, and track freight to delivery, escalating any issues to the management team.
- Supervise orders and arrange adequate stock of goods.
- Be a team player, and visibly promote teamwork and commitment to company objectives.
- Provide operational support to the sales support team.
- Scheduling jobs and workloads according to customers’ needs on a timely basis.
- Liaise with Business Development Managers and other employees to ensure all issues with regards to the freight requirements of customers are met
- Demonstrate effective operational management with an eye for continuous improvement
- Quoting and communication with our customers.
What our ideal applicant will need to succeed:
- Prioritise, coordinate, and delegate daily workloads across the branch operations team to ensure customer deadlines are met and operational objectives are achieved.
- Mechanical background (preferred) or aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- You must have full working rights within Australia.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
- A Positive can-do attitude and be willing to learn.
- Hold or have the ability to hold a driver’s license.
- Hold or have the ability to hold a forklift license.
Be willing to complete local or daily travel when required throughout the local and greater Karratha areas.
- Undergo regular medical tests, drug and alcohol screenings and other tests if required from our customers within industry.
- Undertake site inductions – both on-line and onsite as required.
