About the Role

As a Senior Care Practitioner, you will continue to deliver exceptional, person-centred care while also acting as a role model and support for your colleagues. You’ll help drive consistency, quality, and compassion across services in the Ipswich region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care, ensuring clients’ dignity, comfort, and independence are always upheld

• Support clients with daily living activities (e.g. personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation)

• Monitor client wellbeing and proactively report or escalate changes in condition

• Take a more active role in care planning and supporting best practice across the team

• Build trusting relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery

• Provide guidance and informal support to other Care Practitioners

• Actively participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen leadership capability
