Here’s the rewrite — all references to the client and the project name removed, with the credibility carried by “Tier-1 client” and the nature of the works instead.
Site Supervisor – Civil Earthworks & Rehabilitation | 8/6 FIFO/DIDO
Macro Mining Services, the contract civil and mining services arm of ASX-listed Macro Metals Limited, is building a frontline team for one of the Pilbara’s most significant environmental remediation programmes. We deliver under pressure, lead with safety, and stand behind what we commit to, and we’re after a Site Supervisor who works the same way.
About the project
This is a large-scale civil earthworks and rehabilitation programme delivered for a Tier-1 mining client. Working on Country in the Pilbara, the team is reshaping a legacy mine site through environmentally critical works that return the land to a safe, stable, long-term outcome.
The role
As Site Supervisor, you own the work front. You’ll lead the crew on shift, direct plant and people against the daily plan, and make the calls that keep production safe, compliant and on schedule. You’re where Macro’s standards, the client’s requirements and the crew’s daily work come together.
What you’ll do
- Supervise daily earthworks, capping, encapsulation, drainage and civil works across dozers, graders, excavators, loaders and trucks
- Deliver production against schedule, budget and client rehabilitation and AMD acceptance criteria
- Lead safety in the field — critical control checks, Take 5s, risk assessments and incident close-out
- Enforce environmental controls across AMD, dust, water, waste and material classification
- Verify completed landform, capping and drainage works before sign-off
- Coach operators and build an accountable, safety-first crew, representing Macro in daily client interfaces
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years in mining, civil earthworks or rehabilitation, ideally on Tier-1 operations
- WA Statutory Supervisor (Schedule 26) certificate and a Frontline Management qualification
- Strong earthworks planning skills and competency with GPS-guided plant
- Experience in capping, encapsulation, drainage or legacy mine remediation (highly regarded)
- HR-A (or higher) licence, Construction White Card and Senior First Aid
- A leader who says it straight, holds the line on standards, and earns trust on the ground
