Mechanical & Hydraulic Fitter 

Location: Welcome Creek, QLD (15 minutes from Bundaberg) 

Pay: Competitive rate based on skills and experience (negotiated with the successful candidate) 

Hours: minimum 38 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hydraulic component installation, system commissioning and repairs
  • Assist with the development of new machinery and equipment to support farm operations
  • Mechanical assembly of components on harvesting and related equipment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet specifications and standards
  • Support general repairs and maintenance across farm machinery
  • Share your knowledge and support other workshop team members

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade-qualified Fitter or highly skilled individuals with equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong hydraulic experience (installation, commissioning and repairs)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and fabrication standards
  • Current driver’s licence (required)
