  • Draft, review and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, guarantees and related finance documentation.
  • Manage due diligence, conditions precedent and settlement processes.
  • Advise on PPSA, real property and corporations law issues arising in financing transactions.
  • Manage client files from instructions through to completion, liaising with clients, financiers, other practitioners and government agencies.
  • Prepare written advice and research on banking and finance issues.
  • Supervise and support paralegals and junior lawyers working on your matters.
  • Maintain accurate file records and ensure compliance with professional obligations and firm procedures.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation and continued growth of the practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Admission as an Australian Lawyer, with a current NSW practising certificate.

  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating finance and security documents.
  • A sound working knowledge of the PPSA and security structures.
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to manage matters with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

What We Offer

  • Early responsibility, direct client contact and exposure to a diverse range of matters and clients.
  • Ongoing mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • Clear pathways for career progression.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing confidential counselling and wellbeing support for employees and their immediate family members.
  • The opportunity to be part of a growing national law firm with ambitious goals.
