What will you do?
As our Test Analyst, you’ll plan and execute testing activities across Localsearch’s technology platforms, including our Salesforce environment, to ensure the quality, stability and reliability our business relies on.
- End-to-end testing of Localsearch systems and databases, following our core testing methodologies
- Identification of test conditions using a range of test design techniques
- Production, validation and management of manual test cases and scripts
- Development of test strategies and associated test plans
- Integration of test plans and methodologies into overall project and service delivery
- Management and preparation of test data
- Defect management and change management activities as required
- Liaison with developers, system and network administrators, database administrators, clients, project managers and end users
- Development, maintenance and execution of automated test scripts using tools such as Tricentis Testim
- Use of AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude) to support testing and other work tasks
Who are you & what will you bring?
Required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing
- Extensive experience in both functional and non-functional testing activities
- Knowledge of testing types such as black box, regression, systems integration, exploratory and acceptance testing
- Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- API testing experience
- Strong SQL query skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Zuora highly regarded
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent highly regarded
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with source control management tools such as GitLab
- Experience with automated testing tools, e.g. Tricentis Testim or an equivalent test automation platform
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude)
