About the opportunity
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in assembling, testing and preparing our electronic products for customers around the world. This is a hands-on role working with PCB assemblies, wiring and product builds, ensuring everything leaving Link meets our high standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who has some exposure to electronics manufacturing — or a strong interest in it — and is keen to learn, grow and build their technical capability.
Key Responsibilities
Electronics Assembly & Testing
- Assemble electronic products including PCB assemblies, wiring and enclosures
- Follow detailed work instructions, BOMs and product revisions
- Test products and subassemblies to ensure quality and functionality
Production & Quality
- Prepare products for packaging and dispatch
- Complete quality checks and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail
- Support stocktakes and general production tasks
Continuous Improvement
- Identify issues and suggest improvements to processes or builds
- Work with Engineering and the wider team to improve product manufacturability
- Take ownership of your work and contribute to a high-performing team
About you
You are someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems and being part of a team that builds quality products. You don’t need to know everything — but you bring curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
You will bring:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly or similar (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Comfortable using test procedures, test jigs, and recording results accurately
- A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
- Confidence to take initiative and look for ways to improve how things are done
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of learning new product builds quickly and adapting as products evolve
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to muck in
- Soldering or testing experience is a bonus, but not essential — we can train the right person.
