Description

Tired of being pushed to hit KPIs instead of making a real impact?

At Lime Rainbow, we do things differently. We’re growing a truly person-centred Behaviour Support practice that believes in people over paperwork and outcomes over quotas.

We’re looking to grow our team of Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners who are ready to bring their skills, creativity, and compassion to a space that celebrates individuality, collaboration, and real change, not just ticking compliance boxes.

If you’re passionate about making a meaningful difference and want to be part of a supportive, growing team, we’d love to hear from you!

Who We Are

We’re a values-driven team creating positive, meaningful change in the lives of NDIS participants across all ages and abilities.

Our approach is person-centred, neuro-affirming, and evidence-informed, but never rigid.

We’re a small but growing team of practitioners working within a transdisciplinary model. Our team brings lived experience and practical, on-the-ground knowledge of supporting people and those around them, not just knowledge from books.

We believe in:

  • Growth – For our participants and our team.
  • Joy – Because laughter belongs in every session.
  • Advocacy – Everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and supported.
  • Integrity & Respect – We do what’s right. We’re not looking for quick fixes; we’re building long-term skills, meaningful outcomes, and sustainable support.

About the Role

We’re seeking Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners based in Adelaide, with a particular interest in supporting children and families in Early Childhood.

This is a remote role, with opportunities to travel to regional and remote locations to provide support to participants and their families. Where travel is required, practitioners will travel in pairs with a Therapy Assistant (TA), supporting a collaborative approach to service delivery.

We’re open to welcoming the right person in either a contractor or full-time capacity, depending on experience, suitability, and individual preferences.

While experience in Early Childhood or a degree in Early Childhood Education would be highly regarded, neither is mandatory. We welcome applications from Behaviour Support Practitioners with diverse professional backgrounds who share our values and are passionate about delivering meaningful, person-centred support.

You’ll work alongside a transdisciplinary team of passionate Behaviour Support Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists, all working towards real, sustainable outcomes for participants and their families.

Key Bits of the Role

  • Develop and implement high-quality Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Provide practical training, coaching, and guidance to support teams, families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with Therapy Assistants and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred support.
  • Work remotely while undertaking travel to regional and remote locations when required, alongside a Therapy Assistant.
  • Participate in regular supervision, team training, case discussions, and collaborative planning.
  • Contribute your ideas and expertise to shaping how Behaviour Support should feel: practical, positive, and participant-first.
  • Support participants and families to build skills, independence, and meaningful long-term outcomes.
  • Enjoy flexibility, professional autonomy, and a team that understands the importance of work-life balance.

What We Offer

  • Flexible Employment Options – Choose between contractor or full-time opportunities, depending on the right fit.
  • Remote Working Arrangements – Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while remaining connected to a supportive team.
  • Supported Regional Travel – Opportunities to deliver services in regional and remote communities, travelling alongside a Therapy Assistant.
  • Regular Supervision & Mentoring – Ongoing professional guidance aligned with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
  • Regular Team Training & Development – Opportunities to strengthen your skills, share knowledge, and continue growing professionally.
  • Collaborative Team Environment – Work alongside Behaviour Support Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, OTs, and Speech Pathologists who genuinely value teamwork.
  • Admin & Compliance Support – So you can spend more time focusing on participants and meaningful outcomes.
  • Career Growth Opportunities – Be part of a growing organisation with opportunities for leadership, professional development, and innovation.
  • Competitive Remuneration – Pay that reflects your skills, experience, and contribution, not just your numbers.
  • A Team That Values Heart, Humour & Honesty – A workplace where individuality is celebrated, ideas are welcomed, and people genuinely support one another.

What You’ll Bring

  • Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • A strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice, and relevant restrictive practice legislation.
  • Experience working in Early Childhood or an Early Childhood degree is highly regarded but not essential.
  • A willingness and ability to travel to regional and remote locations when required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • A commitment to person-centred, neuro-affirming, and evidence-informed practice.
  • A proactive approach to participating in supervision, ongoing team training, and professional development.
  • A collaborative, kind, adaptable, and flexible mindset, the Lime Rainbow way.
