Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner (Behavioural Support Practitioner)

We are looking for a qualified Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Practitioner to join our

dynamic team who operate at the forefront of health intervention! The successful candidate

will possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, prioritisation and

organisational skills including the ability to make decisions, meet deadlines and delegate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Delivering quality behavioural support services across a number of clinical areas,

including assessments, plan development, training and behavioural support

• Working collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Working with culturally sensitive practice for clients to deliver quality clinical services

• Actively participate in LTTS team clinical environments to ensure that behavioural

support services are integrated, efficient and equitable for the community serviced

• Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within a team

by engaging in professional development activities

• Providing a framework that supports the Rights of the Individual and Child Safe Practices

About You:

• Appropriate qualifications (‘P’ Number) to operate as a Behavioural Support Practitioner

Registration to practice with NDIS as a PBS Practitioner

o or ability to meet the requirements of the Alternate Pathway as outlined by

NDIS. LTTS can support the supervisory components outlined as a registered

NDIS Provider.

• Willingness to function autonomously and as part of a team

• Motivated to participate in self-development and ongoing training

• Experience in Health, Disability and/ or Community processes is preferred but not

mandatory

team of Allied Health professionals who provide services (Psychology, Occupational Therapy,

Speech Pathology, and Positive Behavioural Support) to Outreach clients in rural, regional, and

remote areas of Queensland
