Our Therapy and Behaviour Support team works with children and young people aged 0–24 years and their families, providing practical, strengths-based supports that help people participate meaningfully in everyday life.

You’ll work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and other professionals who are passionate about supporting our clients and helping new clinicians develop.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you’ll be supported to gradually build your skills and caseload as you transition from university into professional practice.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver Occupational Therapy supports to children and young people
• Support clients with self-care, routines, play, sensory processing, motor skills, emotional regulation and participation
• Develop practical strategies in partnership with children, young people and their families
• Complete assessments, develop goals and contribute to therapy plans
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, early childhood settings and other professionals
• Build your clinical documentation and report-writing skills
• Learn from experienced clinicians through regular supervision and mentoring
• Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Participate in professional development, team learning and clinical discussions
• Develop experience across different areas of Occupational Therapy practice

Your caseload and responsibilities will grow as your confidence and capability develop.

About You -Skills and Experience:

You don’t need years of experience – this role is designed for graduates starting their Occupational Therapy career.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, collaborative and ready to learn.

You will have:

• Completed, or be completing in 2026, a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
• Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration before commencing
• An interest in working with children, young people and families
• A strengths-based and person-centred approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A willingness to learn, ask questions and develop your clinical skills
• Good organisation and time-management skills
• A current driver’s licence and access to an insured vehicle
• A valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain these

Placement experience in paediatrics, disability or community services is welcomed but not essential.
