About you:


  • Current Drivers Licence (WA)
  • Construction White Card
  • Min of 2 years experience in trade
  • Proven experience working in the Building & Construction Industry
  • Trade Certificate (Formwork Carpenter)
  • Works well in small to large team
  • Physically fit
  • Australian Citizen or valid Working Visa
  • We are looking for an experienced and hard-working Formworker to join our dynamic team in Perth.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and completing a variety of tasks pertaining to formwork on construction sites. You should have a proven track record of success, excellent project management skills, and a passion for building safe and quality structures. Your strong communication, problem-solving and time management abilities will be utilised to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.


 


Key responsibilities include:


  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans for formwork in order to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Creating formwork templates and tie installations to ensure the stability of structures. 
  • Inspecting formwork quality and safety to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assisting in the setting, levelling, and alignment of formwork.
  • Discovering and correcting errors or issues before pouring of concrete
  • Striking Formwork after the pour.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other trades to discuss project status and associated questions.
  • Reporting job progress, incidents, and accidents in the workplace.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in formwork and working on construction sites
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem solving, planning, and organisational skills
