Larvotto Resources (LRV) is developing the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project in Armidale, NSW. This project offers a unique opportunity to work within the mining industry in the vibrant regional town of Armidale, renowned for its quality of life, educational institutions, and beautiful surroundings. Centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney, Armidale is just a short drive to the popular Coffs Coast.
The Role
As an Underground Service Crew operator reporting to the UG Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all underground services and ground support systems required for safe and efficient mining operations. This includes ventilation, water management, paste/backfill services, cable hanging, blast barricading, infrastructure installation and scaling.
The role is fundamental to ensuring operational readiness across development and production areas and directly contributes to safety, efficiency and the structural integrity of the underground mine
This is a Permanent role on a residential basis with relocation provided.
Roster is 7 on / 7 off, rotating day and night shifts.
About You
- Previous underground service crew, nipper or ground support experience
- Strong hazard awareness in confined underground environments
- Self-management and ability to coordinate multiple work fronts under minimal supervision
- Willing to turn your hand to whatever is required to support the team
- Strong safety focus and ability to work well in a small crew
- Shotfirer’s ticket and additional certifications highly regarded
- Work Safely at Heights Ticket
- Confined Space Ticket
Other Requirements:
- Current Australian Manual Driver’s License
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
- Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request or ability to undertake clearance
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
