About the Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Food Safety & Quality Officer to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our food safety, quality, and compliance systems. This is a hands-on role working closely with production, suppliers, and management to ensure our products consistently meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

·       Lead HACCP implementation and compliance

·       Manage GMP standards across production and warehouse

·       Conduct internal audits and support external audits

·       Maintain food safety documentation and traceability

·       Manage customer complaints and investigations

·       Identify root causes and implement corrective actions

·       Manage non-conformances and quality trends

·       Support supplier quality management

·       Review ingredient and supplier specifications

·       Support product approvals, labelling compliance, and launches

·       Maintain WHS compliance and conduct risk assessments

·       Investigate incidents and coordinate safety training

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives

About You

·       Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems

·       Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG desirable

·       Excellent attention to detail and organisation

·       Ability to manage competing priorities

·       Analytical and solutions-focused mindset

·       Positive attitude with ability to drive improvement
