Make the right choice
We are looking for a Product Manager to support and deliver growth across our retail portfolio through the execution of product initiatives, New Product Development (NPD), and in-market performance.
Working closely with the Portfolio Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to market, supporting portfolio optimisation, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring successful retail execution across New Zealand and Australia.
This role can be based in either Melbourne or Brisbane – choose the location that works best for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through to launch, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful market outcomes.
- Identify market trends, consumer insights and growth opportunities to support innovation, portfolio growth and category performance.
- Support portfolio planning, range optimisation and product rationalisation initiatives to ensure an effective and competitive product offering.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance teams to deliver product, pricing and commercial objectives.
- Develop customer-facing materials and support retail execution activities, including presentations, trade marketing collateral, training content and range reviews.
- Monitor competitor activity and maintain accurate product information, specifications and documentation to support informed decision-making and successful product delivery.
What you’ll bring with you
- Experience in product management, product development and/or marketing, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret market insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive, self-motivated and continuous improvement mindset, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- FMCG or consumer products experience would be advantageous, along with exposure to AI tools that improve insights, reporting or project management effectiveness.
