Description
Venue Manager – Kingston Hotel
Kingston Hotel is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to join us as Venue Manager, in an ongoing role responsible for leading the venue and managing its day-to-day operations — service, presentation, stock, safety, compliance, rosters and performance.
Alongside running the floor, you’ll also mentor and develop our existing Duty Managers and supervisors, helping to lift leadership standards across the venue. We’re looking for someone who has already led venues successfully and wants to bring that experience to both the operation and the people in it.
If you’re a capable, experienced operator who also gets satisfaction from developing the people around you, and you want a permanent leadership role with real influence over how your venue runs and grows, this could be exactly right for you.
About Kalis Hospitality and Kingston Hotel
At Kalis Hospitality, we are driven by our mission to deliver exceptional experiences, every time. Our values of Community, Growth, Honesty and Respect guide how we lead, work and support each other every day. These values are not just words on a page. They shape the culture we are building across our venues and the expectations we have of our leaders.
Kingston Hotel is a venue with strong local connection and real potential. We’re seeking a Venue Manager who can step in, provide steady and experienced leadership, and — just as importantly — grow the capability of the team around them.
Why this role matters
This is a genuine, ongoing leadership opportunity for an experienced Venue Manager to take full ownership of Kingston Hotel’s operations — running the floor, driving performance and setting the standard day to day — while also building the capability of the team around them.
You’ll have full autonomy to lead Kingston Hotel’s day to day, backed by genuine influence over how the venue and its people develop, and a direct line to HR and leadership.
To be successful in this role, values fit matters just as much as experience. We are looking for someone who is community minded, honest, respectful, growth focused, and genuinely energised by developing the leaders around them.
This role is an immediate start, and we will begin contacting potential candidates straight away — so don’t wait to apply.
What we offer

- Ongoing collaboration with HR and the leadership team to support you and your team’s development
- Relocation and/or accommodation support can be discussed for the right candidate
What you will do
- Lead Kingston Hotel’s day-to-day operations, taking full ownership of how the venue runs
