Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and professional Truck Sales Representative to join our team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building long-term relationships and helping customers find the right solutions for their business. You will be responsible for selling premium new and used trucks, trailers and related transport solutions throughout our region.

About the Role

As a Truck Sales Representative, you will spend much of your time out in the field meeting customers, understanding their operations and identifying opportunities to support their businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling new and used trucks, trailers and transport equipment
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Regularly visiting existing and prospective customers
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing sales leads
  • Understanding customer operations and providing tailored transport solutions
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and finance introductions where required
  • Managing customer enquiries and sales opportunities from initial contact through to delivery
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and sales activity through CRM systems
  • Representing Johnson’s Trucks and our brands in a professional manner
  • Attending trade shows, field days, truck shows, community events and industry functions
  • Assisting with product launches, demonstration programs and customer events
  • Becoming an active ambassador for Johnson’s Trucks within the local community and transport industry
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business

About You

Previous sales experience is highly regarded, however we are equally interested in candidates who possess strong relationship-building skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
