Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in the Utilities sector. This permanent, full-time position is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our operations. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that all facilities are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events as required
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
