About You
You are an exercise physiologist (or soon to graduate) who is eager to join a fast-paced team and learn about occupational health. You will need to appreciate the importance of customer service and managing customer expectations as well as the need to deliver quality, timely health services to clients, meeting SLA’s while enhancing employee engagement and productivity. You are down to earth, and value respect, teamwork and being accountable.
This role is known internally as an Occupational Health Assessor (OHA) and is offered on a permanent part-time basis for immediate start. Your role will be to provide exceptional service, consistent quality and attention to detail in the delivery of employment-related health assessments and occupational health initiatives. This role is anticipated to be offered at a part-time capacity (3-4 days per week), and will be based predominantly at our Adelaide clinic.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Occupational Health Assessments including pre-employment medicals, audiometry, spirometry, ECGs, drug screening, functional capacity assessments and fitness testing
- Timely and accurate reporting
- Worker health checks
- High level compliance and observation of the Privacy Act
- General administration
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels & equipment
- Health and wellness projects, initiatives, training and promotion
- Contributing to client relationship management, continuous improvement and business growth initiatives
- Commitment and compliance to strong safety culture
The Ideal Candidate
- Currently studying or completed a bachelor’s degree Exercise Physiology
- ESSA Registration (Physiotherapists/Exercise Physiologists)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work in our Adelaide clinic
- Fast learner, agile and flexible
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
