Machinery Operator

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinery/Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient and safe working processes. The Machinery Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure that work targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies
• Monitor machinery during operation to ensure that it is functioning properly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure that it is in good working order
• Maintain accurate records of machinery operation and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that work targets are met and quality standards are maintained
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Cert 4 in Civil Construction (Not mandatory)
• Previous experience operating machinery, such as:

1. Excavators
2. Skid steers
3. Front-End Loaders
4. Rollers
5. Vac-Trucks
6. Tip-Trucks

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Willing to be able to go for and hold a high level Security Clearance
