Electrical Tradesperson

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Northern Territory Electrical License
• Northern Territory Drivers License
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Willing to be able to go for and hold a high level Security Clearance
• Forklift, EWP and HR License’s preferred but not mandatory.
