From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we’ve been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey’s still on the horizon.

Joining IOR means stepping into a role where your work genuinely matters. As our Maintenance Coordinator – Aviation, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the reliability and performance of aviation fuel facilities across Australia. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing aviation team where no two days are the same and where your technical coordination skills will directly contribute to safe and dependable operations.

About the role

This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance and fault rectification activities across our remote aviation fuel facilities. You’ll manage service requests, schedule maintenance works, support technical enquiries, and work with a national network of service providers to ensure operational reliability and compliance with industry standards.

  • Monitor facility performance and work with contractors and technicians to maintain safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

  • Support technical enquiries received via phone, email, and ticketing systems, providing effective coordination and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, customer support, and external service providers to improve system performance and reliability.
  • What you’ll bring

You’ll be a highly organised coordinator with a strong technical mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and delivering outcomes that keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.

  • Experience in maintenance coordination, field services, service delivery, or a similar technical support environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintenance schedules, and contractor engagement.
  • Technical understanding of fuel systems, mechanical equipment, pumps, valves, or similar industrial infrastructure is highly regarded.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across operational teams, contractors, and customers while delivering excellent service outcomes.
  • Willingness to participate in an after-hours emergency response roster, with a proactive and safety-focused approach to work.
