Senior Estimator

About the role:

The Senior Estimator will report to the Manufacturing and Site Services Director and will be responsible for creating estimates, developing proposals, liaising with subcontractors, and handling requests for quotations and tenders. This is a full-time position based at our Manufacturing Facility in Canning Vale, working Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities include:

• Assess project plans, specifications, and tender documents to define the scope of work
• Assist in developing construction schedules, methodologies, and related documentation
• Review contract terms and manage pre-contract monitoring and reporting
• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analysing project drawings, specifications, and other documents
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure competitive and accurate estimates

About you:

• 10+ years of relevant experience estimating within an electrical engineering environment required
• Electrical Trade experience required
• Demonstrated ability in interpretation of contractual documents, specifications and drawings required
• High level of Microsoft Excel and Word Proficiency required
• Renewable and Power Industry experience highly desirable
