We are looking for an experienced AV Event Technician to join our on-site team. Reporting to the on-site Event Operations Lead, this is a position to deal technical duties for smooth delivery of various functions and events based onsite at an educational institution in Melbourne’s CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Event requests as scheduled by the Events Operations Lead
- Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients
- Monitor and manage equipment stores and equipment maintenance
- Ensure exceptional quality standards are met and KPIs are achieved
- Attend service calls and maintenance tasks as required
Skills and experience:
- Relevant Events Audio-Visual experience
- Audio Visual and management qualifications or equivalent experience
- Strong existing understanding (or development) of video conference infrastructure and similar web-based technologies
- Understanding of ITIL methodology
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Professional personal presentation and history of exceptional work attendance
- An ability to form effective client relationships
- A passion to further your professional development
- Able to take a creative approach to situations and problem solving.
- Problem solver, will own issues until full resolution.
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal staff and customers
