About us
Impact Curriculum is an innovative national Australian not-for-profit (NfP) committed to improving educational outcomes. We support teachers with high-quality, evidence-informed resources and professional learning.
Over the last four years we have worked with more than 500 expert practising Australian teachers to create 11,000 lessons across English, Maths, Science and Humanities. These are freely available on our national platform and accessed by 90% of Australian schools. Our work spans curriculum development, teacher training, and education system-wide capacity building across Australia.
Impact Curriculum works alongside the following for-purpose entities as part of the Impact Teaching Group (ITG):
- Teach Well – impactful professional learning for teachers and school leaders
- Impact Assessment – high-quality assessments and analytics for schools and School systems
Both Teach Well and Impact Assessment are wholly owned by NfP Impact Curriculum. Revenue from Teach Well and Impact Assessment supports Impact Curriculum in its mission to provide free, high-quality curriculum resources to all Australian teachers, alongside support for educators to implement the resources across diverse classrooms and school communities.
Impact Curriculum is also the Australian and New Zealand reseller of SpringMath, an evidence-based maths screening and intervention tool for students from Foundation to Year 9. Revenue from SpringMath also supports Impact Curriculum’s NfP mission and goals.
The context for the role
The Marketing Lead (Growth) is a new role within Impact Teaching Group, created to grow our earned revenue and support organisational sustainability. It will lead marketing and sales activity for our purchased offers across Impact Curriculum, SpringMath and Impact Assessment, and support other growth areas and the wider Group where needed.
Our free Impact Curriculum resources already reach 90% of Australian schools. This role turns that reach into sustainable revenue that funds our mission, while keeping our free offer at the heart of what we do. A solid understanding of education and schooling systems within Australia is highly advantageous.
Role summary and purpose
We are seeking a high-potential, organised and creative Marketing Lead to drive growth across Impact Curriculum and Impact Assessment’s earned-revenue products. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on acquisition, conversion and retention: turning interest from educators, school leaders and systems into subscriptions, licences and long-term partnerships.
Working to targets and priorities set by the Head of Growth & Strategy (and, for Impact Assessment, the Impact Assessment CEO), you will plan and deliver campaigns across email, content, social, web and events. You will build lifecycle journeys in HubSpot, track performance against targets and continuously improve what works.
You will work closely with the Group Marketing & Comms Manager to keep messaging and brand consistent across the group, and with product, data and partnership colleagues to support customers throughout the lifecycle.
Working remotely and independently, you will be a self-starter who is comfortable owning a pipeline. Impact Curriculum is committed to promoting child safety and wellbeing. All staff must comply with our Child Safety Policy.
