Quality and Education Manager

Description

Lead and maintain all aspects of clinical governance, incident management, and quality assurance systems

Develop and manage the QDMS, version control protocols, and compliance registers

Facilitate continuous improvement (PCI) and lead audit cycles across clinical and operational services

Deliver and oversee competency-based clinical education aligned with regulatory training obligations (e.g., ED online, CPD)

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), clinical risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions

Ensure timely and accurate submission of board-level quality and compliance reports

Manage document silos, risk registers, and lead continuous planning

Provide strategic oversight of workforce development, rostering integrity, and clinical escalation protocols

Representing the Quality, Education & Development (QED) function on the Clinical Governance Review Team (CGRT) and Quality Compliance Advisory Board (QCAB)

Champion a culture of resident-centered care and continuous improvement in resident outcomes

Act as a liaison with residents, families, and external stakeholders on quality and education matters

Stay abreast of current research and best practices in aged care quality and education

Provide mentorship and support to staff in implementing quality initiatives and educational programs
