As the Territory Manager (Central Otago & Southland), you’ll be responsible for leading and growing our presence across the Central Otago. You’ll be responsible for managing key customer relationships, driving sales performance, and ensuring operational excellence across your territory.

This is a field-based role with regular travel, offering autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact. Strong preference given to those with experience in the Plumbing and Civil industry or adjacent industries.

Location:

We are searching for someone who is based in either Dunedin or Queenstown and who is happy to be travelling for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers. Develop, maintain and strengthen working relationships to ensure their needs are met.
  • Achieve and exceed sales budgets, targets and objectives, being proactive in visiting prospective customers and securing new business.
  • Be the product expert and ensure that customers are kept up-to-date with new products, services and stock availability.
  • Contribute to sales planning and strategy development, while actively monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with national teams to align strategy and share insights.
  • Arrange trade exhibitions, product demonstrations and training sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in on-road account management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience (plumbing or construction preferred)
  • The ability to quickly build rapport.
  • A great attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
