Parts Manager

📍 Forbes and Condobolin, NSW

Full-time

Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm

Rotational Saturdays: 9am – 12pm

Are you an experienced Parts Manager, Senior Parts Interpreter, Parts Supervisor or dealership professional ready to take the next step with one of Australia’s leading John Deere dealerships?

Hutcheon & Pearce is looking for a Parts Manager to lead our Forbes and Condobolin branches. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, build strong customer relationships and play a key role in the ongoing success of two thriving regional branches.

This role offers the perfect balance of leadership, customer engagement, inventory management and commercial operations. You’ll work closely with customers, parts personnel, service teams and branch leadership while helping drive sales growth, operational efficiency and an exceptional customer experience.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead and support the Parts team to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Parts Interpreters and Parts personnel
  • Driving a customer-first culture by building strong relationships and delivering outstanding service outcomes
  • Managing parts department operations across Forbes and Condobolin to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day performance
  • Supporting parts sales growth through proactive customer engagement, merchandising and inventory management
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels, inventory control processes and stock ordering programs
  • Managing warranty and return processes to maximise recovery opportunities and maintain compliance
  • Monitoring key performance measures including parts sales, inventory performance, customer satisfaction and team engagement
  • Driving a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Working collaboratively with Service, Sales and branch leadership teams to support the success of the entire dealership

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who combines strong operational knowledge with genuine people leadership. You will ideally have:

  • Previous leadership experience within a Parts Department, dealership or relevant aftermarket environment
  • Strong understanding of parts operations, inventory management and customer service principles
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance and drive results
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and dealership management systems
  • Knowledge of John Deere products, agricultural machinery or related industries will be highly regarded

Agricultural machinery or dealership experience will be highly regarded, however we are also open to strong leaders from automotive, heavy diesel, mining, earthmoving or other related industries.
