Accounting Supervisor or Manager

About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to join HSPlus Accountants & Advisory’ as a Supervisor or Manager in our Tax team based in our Red Hill, QLD office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax advisory services to our diverse client base across a range of industries.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervising and managing a team of tax professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery

• Providing expert tax advice and consulting services to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory

• Identifying opportunities for tax minimisation and implementing tax-effective strategies

• Reviewing and finalising tax returns, objections, and other client deliverables

• Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients

• Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative tax solutions

• Mentoring and training junior team members to support their professional development

What we’re looking for

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field, with a strong background in taxation

• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar tax advisory or management role

• Excellent technical tax knowledge and the ability to apply this in a practical, commercial manner

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills

• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

• Proven experience in managing complex tax matters and leading high-profile client engagements

• CA/CPA Qualified
