We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Carpenter / Handyperson to join our friendly team in our community located in Penrith. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential for ongoing work for the right person.

Reporting directly to the Community Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for repair and improvement works across a number of tourist accommodation cabins within the community.

Responsibilities:

• Timber repairs to cabin exteriors.

• Replacement of weatherboards and breather boards.

• Decking repairs and minor carpentry works.

• External painting and finishing.

• General building maintenance and property presentation works.

• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.

Skills & Experience:

• Practical carpentry and maintenance experience.

• Ability to work independently and produce quality workmanship.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Current driver’s license.

• White Card preferred.
