Transport Operator – Early Morning Shift

Monday to Friday | 1:30am – 9:30am | Wetherill Park

About us

HDS is a fast-growing home delivery and logistics business that keeps goods moving to customers across Wetherill Park. We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Transport Operator to join our early morning team and help get our outbound freight out the door on time, every time.

About the role

You’ll support our transport and outbound operations during the early morning shift, making sure orders are prepared, loaded and dispatched accurately and on schedule. It’s a fast-paced role suited to someone who likes being active, working as part of a team, and finishing their day by mid-morning.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, staging and loading of outbound freight
• Checking orders and paperwork for accuracy before dispatch
• Coordinating with drivers to ensure vehicles are loaded correctly and leave on time
• Receiving and processing returns or inbound stock as required
• Keeping the dock and warehouse areas clean, safe and organised
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Reporting any issues, delays or damages to the shift supervisor

About you

• Previous experience in transport, warehousing or logistics
• Comfortable working early morning hours consistently
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and a good sense of urgency
• Reliable, punctual and a great team player
• Own reliable transport (essential given shift start time)
