We’re growing our Engineering capability and are looking for Engineers to support a
range of renewable energy projects across our portfolio.
We’re open to people with different backgrounds, strengths and levels of experience, and anticipate appointing Electrical, Mechanical and/or Process engineers in fixed term and permanent roles.
These roles are for engineers who are comfortable working in complex environments with
others and are focused on getting things done. Often, this work has never been done before.
As an Engineer you’ll be a key team player. You’ll be responsible for parts of a project and will be expected to deliver them, while providing support to others in the team in line with your engineering discipline skills.
You will be
involved at varying levels in:
- Supporting concept and FEED work – delivering technical assessments and specifications along with schedule and budget estimates.
- Delivering engineering to support detailed design, construction and commissioning of new projects, and ongoing operational support to existing projects.
- Ensuring industry leading HSEQ outcomes are achieved.
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in people who bring strong engineering fundamentals, sound judgement and a
collaborative mindset.
You will ideally have experience in elements of the below
- Delivery of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, electrical, or similar large industrial projects)
- Working with international vendors and other suppliers
- Dealing with novel or new technologies
- Engineering in different regulatory regimes
- Site construction and commissioning
Core competencies we value:
- Problem-solving in complex or ambiguous and dynamic environments
- A strong understanding of knowing what is really important to be able to progress and de-risk a project.
- An understanding of regulatory requirements and how they are applied to novel projects.
Experience & Background
- We’re open to a range of experience levels
- We’re also open to a range of qualifications but a degree would be advantageous.
- Experience delivering renewable or energy projects in New Zealand and/or Australia is advantageous.
