- 6 years+ post-graduate experience managing projects from Schematic Design to Contract Administration.

The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and motivated Project Leads to manage architectural projects from Schematic Design to Contract Administration. Successful completion of projects is achieved through developing a clear understanding of Client requirements and actively managing the operational aspects of Hillam Architects’ architectural projects, including project team staff, program, budgets, and deliverables for delegated projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Team management and project performance management including planning, monitoring and reviewing.
- Liaison with the client for all aspects of the project.
- Management of design and documentation of projects to a high standard in line with project aspirations, delivered on time and on budget.
- Preparation and delivery of briefs, sketches, BIM modelling and drawings, verbal/written and graphic presentations, schedules, specifications, reports and opinion of costs.
- Reporting on brief, scope, programme, budget, delivery progress, invoicing, and project and individual performance.
- Ensure project compliance with company processes, policies, and quality requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture (or equivalent experience).
- Registration as an Architect advantageous, but not essential.
- 6 years+ post graduate experience.
- Experience in project initiation, planning and execution.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: apartments, multi-residential, hotel, student accommodation, build-to-rent, townhouses, carbon-neutral and highly rated energy buildings, commercial, or fit-out projects.
- Project team management experience.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Briefing, design, presentation, communication, BIM implementation, review, delegation and motivation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, builders, authorities and other project or practice stakeholders.
- Ability to assess time and drive projects to completion within project budgets and milestones.
- Strong skills in Revit – required
- Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional organisation and coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
