ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a customer-centric and visionary executive leader that can deliver aggressive revenue growth through strategic and effective sales and marketing initiatives; whilst balancing the high-pressure demand of Sales, the creativity of Marketing and the structure and discipline of Engineering.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) oversees the functions of Sales, Marketing and Engineering; these three departments form the Revenue Group. As the CRO, you are responsible for all revenue generating activities of the company. This involves ensuring that we remain in control of our brand and that all activity is aligned with the strategic direction of the company to deliver the required revenue both now and for years to come.

You will be required to develop and implement a revenue strategy that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and ensure the company’s long-term profitability, continually scan the market for signs of disruption and ensure that the company leads as a disruptor in its respective markets and maintains a strong competitive lead.

Hidrive is a sales and engineering lead company, which means that Engineering forms a critical part of the Revenue group. You will be responsible to lead the Engineering team, ensuring that every sale is a fully engineered solution when it is passed to the manufacturing team and that Hidrive leads the market with innovate, safe and compliant mobile workspace solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Sales or Marketing
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering related stream is preferred, but not essential. Alternatively, a trade-based qualification would be viewed favourably
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales or Marketing leadership roles in companies of equivalent or larger total revenue to Hidrive
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in either a) a trade-oriented vocation, or b) an engineering role is required
  • Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing and Customer care best practices
  • Executive level experience is preferred, but not essential
