The Role

Working closely with clients, you’ll provide strategic, practical and empathetic advice while helping them navigate what can often be challenging and highly personal circumstances including:

• Divorce and separation matters
• Property settlements and financial disputes
• Parenting arrangements and children’s matters
• Spousal maintenance
• Binding Financial Agreements
• Child support and maintenance matters
• Family violence and restraining order matters
• Mediation, negotiations and other dispute resolution processes
• Court proceedings and appearances

About You

You’re an experienced Family Lawyer who genuinely cares about the people behind each matter. You understand that Family Law requires more than strong technical skills — it takes empathy, sound judgement and the ability to guide clients through some of life’s most challenging moments.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• 3+ years PQE in Family Law, with experience managing a broad and varied range of matters
• Strong technical, drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills, with excellent attention to detail
• A practical and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to navigate complex and sensitive matters
• A genuine client-first mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
• A collaborative approach, with a desire to grow your expertise, build your professional profile and progress your career within a supportive team
