Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HV Electrician to join our long wall overhauls team at our Paget workshop facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and experience in the Underground mining sector, preferably working on HBT OEM equipment. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair high voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations.

Qualifications:

• Relevant electrical trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology).
• High Voltage (HV) certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with high voltage electrical systems in the underground mining sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
