Summary:
We are a dynamic and fast-growing group of over 35 businesses with a combined workforce of more than 180 employees. Operating across diverse sectors, we are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Group Finance Manager to join our central finance team.
This is an ideal role for a finance graduate or early-career professional looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You will play a key role in managing financial operations across the group, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring sound financial management during a period of expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Triage initial contact with finance team, ensuring accurate and timely redirection of queries and requests
- Prepare and manage consolidated monthly financial reports across the group
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate debtor and creditor records
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and new business opportunities
- Assist in implementing and enhancing accounting systems, controls, and financial processes
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management
- Assisting with group payroll operations
Requirements:
- Degree preferred, or working towards a degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related discipline
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Experience in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems (xero)
