Summary:

We are a dynamic and fast-growing group of over 35 businesses with a combined workforce of more than 180 employees. Operating across diverse sectors, we are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Group Finance Manager to join our central finance team.

This is an ideal role for a finance graduate or early-career professional looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You will play a key role in managing financial operations across the group, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring sound financial management during a period of expansion.

Responsibilities:

Triage initial contact with finance team, ensuring accurate and timely redirection of queries and requests
Prepare and manage consolidated monthly financial reports across the group
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate debtor and creditor records
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Monitor the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Assist with financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and new business opportunities
Assist in implementing and enhancing accounting systems, controls, and financial processes
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management
Assisting with group payroll operations

Requirements:

Degree preferred, or working towards a degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related discipline
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and time management skills
Experience in financial reporting and accounting standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of Accounting Systems (xero)
