Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant team in Redfern. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality pizzas and a strong understanding of Italian cuisine. The dough will be in a Neapolitan style. This permanent, full-time role is essential for maintaining our reputation for excellence in the hospitality and catering industry, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen operations, including Neapolitan dough preparation, inventory control, and food safety compliance.

• Collaborate with the management team to develop new pizza recipes and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques and Italian cuisine, especially with Neapolitan dough.
• Experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Food safety certification and knowledge of health regulations.
